Merger of PRD, Filmret and REDK 1 January 2021

On 1 January 2021, there will be a merger of Producer Rights Denmark (PRD), Filmret ApS and Registration Denmark ApS (REDK).

The merger means that from 1 January 2021, only the organisation Producer Rights Denmark is responsible for all parts of the collective management for owners of producers’ rights.

The decision on the merger is first and foremost made by the board of Producer Rights Denmark, and then the management of Filmret and the management and board of Registration Denmark.

The purpose of the merger is to improve transparency for all right holders and partners, as well as simplify administration and internal procedures.

All employees in Filmret and Registration Danmark, respectively, will be transferred to Producer Rights Denmark as of 1 January 2021.

The current board of Producer Rights Denmark will continue under the new structure, and the general meeting of Producer Rights Denmark will be the organisation’s supreme authority.
