ISAN
ISAN is an identification number for audiovisual productions. The ISAN system is an international collaboration designed to register and identify audiovisual productions across industries and national borders.
ISAN stands for International Standard Audiovisual Number. Also see ISAN International Agency.
Danish audiovisual productions are registered with a unique ISAN number.
Via PRD's login profile, rightsholders can see the ISAN numbers related to their own productions, as well as productions on the general list of unclaimed works by downloading the lists (to Excel sheets). Not all Danish productions are automatically registered with an ISAN number, and in some cases it is necessary to apply for an ISAN number for a single production.
